Ingredients for Crispy Peanuts:
Peanuts 200g, Salt and Pepper Powder a pinch.
Method for Crispy Peanuts:
Step 1: Prepare 200g of peanuts with skin on.
Step 2: Before frying, filter out impurities using a sieve.
Step 3: Heat the pan until it becomes hot to the touch.
Step 4: Pour in the peanuts and stir-fry for a short while. (The advantage of using a flat pan is that you can lift the entire pan to toss the peanuts, ensuring even heating)
Step 5: Stir-fry over medium-low heat until the peanut skins develop black spots, then remove from heat. (This takes about 5-7 minutes)
Step 6: Let the peanuts cool for a moment.
Step 7: Place the fried peanuts in a plastic bag, leaving some space, seal tightly, and rub the peanuts back and forth to remove the skins easily.
Step 8: Pour out the peanuts and gently blow them with a hairdryer, causing the skins to float out. (It’s best to have a basin of water nearby, so the skins can fall into the water, avoiding the need to sweep the floor and making cleaning faster.)
Step 9: Sprinkle with salt and pepper powder.
Step 10: Enjoy your crispy peanuts at any time.
Cooking Tips for Crispy Peanuts:
Avoid high heat during frying as it can lead to burnt exteriors while the inside remains uncooked. Only place the peanuts in a plastic bag to remove the skins after they have cooled.
